An excellent introduction to machine sewing and pattern drafting. Small group of 3 students so there is close supervision. Amy gives very good explanations and has a good presentation style. The machines for the classes are those on display in the shop and are therefore the latest available. Looking forward to the dressmaking course to learn about using patterns!

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Amy is a very skilled dressmaker and a great tutor offering extra tips in addition to the basics. We learnt how to draft a pattern and all the functionality of the sewing machine and succeeded in making a cushion and tote bag. Thank you!

Excellent course, nicely paced and the small group size means there’s plenty of time to ask questions and have 1:1 support. I will be signing up for the dress making class too 😊
